For me, for you..

Tis the time of year to begin resoluting (is that a word? well, the act of resolutions, so yes, it works). During the Christmas season, Wopsle and I were deeply inspired by the mantra of Advent Conspiracy: WORSHIP FULLY, SPEND LESS, GIVE MORE, LOVE ALL. Thus, my 2009 resolutions done with SMART goals:
  1. Set weekly goals in Marriage, Ministry, and Myself with Wopsle each Sunday night.
  2. Disciple 2 girls this year, Tuesdays at 4pm.
  3. Take photos more often with the goal of posting these photos to Facebook once a month.
  4. Cook at least one home cooked meal each week, trying new recipes that we might not necessarily be so sure about. First up, Turkey Almondine.
  5. Work out at the Simmons Center 2 times a week. Pilates and yoga, watch out.
  6. Get back to No-Media-Monday-Nights.
  7. Begin praying with our family prayer plan - instead of praying for our food, we'll have a specific prayer point for each day of the week. Monday - Ministry, Tuesday - Friends, Wednesday - Missions, Thursday - Missionaries, Friday - Family, Saturday - Our Reach (Duncan, Tri-Delt, The Merchant, Facebook, etc.), Sunday - The Church
  8. Go to bed earlier, get up earlier. In bed before Leno, up and ready to go by 9am. (*Sidequest* Start eating breakfast!)
  9. Write more for pleasure, not just journaling. Once a week, probably during No-Media-Monday-Night, have a creative writing session.
  10. Begin savings for adoption.
