Two steps forward, one step back.

I know, I know, it's only January 5th and I've already broken one of my resolutions. No Media Monday Night has turned into a Media Free For All in my house. Now I'm going to put on my whiny lil kid voice and tell you why. Because Texas is playing Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl tonight (and is currently losing with 2 minutes left, YES!), and we're starting our At the Movies series on Wednesday and have to spend hours and hours rendering movie clips, and we just discovered iChat today, and there's ice outside, an' an' an' well I blame most of it on the economy but at least I'm writing, right? So. SUE. ME.

I had a very productive and pleasant day of officing due largely in part to the fact that I now finally have a, wait for it, a desk. And if that weren't enough to motivate and excite me and, oh yes, allow me to adequately work, I also have a brand new, get this, office chair. Yes, as sad as it is I have not had proper office space for the past 14 months. Words cannot express how much I love office supplies and now that place in my heart is enlarged to include office furniture. Oh what a joy to be able to perform my job to the fullest!

(Texas just scored with 14 seconds left to win the Fiesta Bowl. Stupid Longhorn buttmunches. That was said in my whiny lil kid voice again.)
